Cardi B is already thinking long-term about Grow-Good Beauty.

As AFROTECH™ previously reported, the artist launched the science-backed, affordable haircare brand this year. It had been a venture fans were anticipating, given how candid she had been about her natural hair journey over the years.

Grow-Good Beauty carries shampoo, repair conditioner, multi-function serum, and a hydrating hair mask made with ingredients including green banana, moringa seed, castor seed, aloe vera, and avocado, according to its website.

“You want people to buy it the second time, so we have worked so hard for these products to be amazing,” Cardi B said on Emma Grede’s podcast.

Grow-Good Beauty sold out at launch and reportedly had a waitlist reflecting more than $40 million in potential sales, according to TheGrio.

The brand recently restocked its products and announced the news with a campaign featuring Cardi B’s 8-year-old daughter, Kulture Cephus. In the video, Cardi B is seen using Grow-Good Beauty products to wash Kulture’s hair in a sink. She also places a plastic bag over Kulture’s hair so the mask can penetrate her scalp and hair for 40 minutes.

“Like mother, like daughter! @iamcardib is passing down the rituals and recipes she grew up with to give @kulturekiari a lesson in haircare,” the caption on the Instagram post read. “Cardi is teaching her about the ingredients she’s always used to keep her hair healthy and how they inspired the Repair System’s formula.”

Passing The Torch

What’s more, Cardi B is passing down more than her haircare knowledge. She revealed on X that Kulture will one day take over the company.

“This is not a beauty ad …This is a company that one day she’ll own,” Cardi B said on X.
