50 Cent, the businessman, remains undefeated.
According to The Houston Chronicle, the hip-hop heavyweight turned entrepreneur and television extraordinaire just raked in the big bucks thanks to his Le Chemin du Roi champagne.
The Auction
During the 2023 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition held in Houston, Texas, 50 Cent’s champagne took home the award for Grand Champion Best of Show, beating out 3,000 other competitors.
The rapper, whose given name is Curtis Jackson, launched Sire Spirits in 2017, and the company is home to not only his Le Chemin du Roi Champagne — which stands for “The King’s Path” — but also his award-winning Branson Cognac.
The Big Bucks
Following the huge win during the Texas rodeo, another victory ensued when the bottle was auctioned off to the highest bidder at a whopping $325,000.
Not only did he bring in some dough, but 50 Cent also took to social media to share what the experience was like as a consumer as well.
His Rodeo Experience
“You think you know money until you make it to the Rodeo in Houston,” the “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'” emcee shared in an Instagram post. “I bought the lot 2 Reserve champion [for] $165,000 you need a real bag to play over here lol.”

50 Cent's Success
No stranger to the beverage industry, AfroTech previously reported how the New York native’s famous Vitaminwater deal changed the course of hip-hop partnerships forever.
He made an estimated $100 million from that deal alone, according to reports.
In addition to his success in the product industry, 50 Cent has also managed to make his mark within the world of entertainment through his hit “Power” franchise and continues to do the same through its spinoffs as well as his “BMF” series.
In fact, following the announcement of his exit from Starz, the mogul revealed that he has inked a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal with Fox.
