Young Thug is proposing a one-of-a-kind challenge for creators to flex their creativity with some help from Adobe.

According to Complex, the Atlanta rapper has formed a new partnership with the software company to create the Young Thug Jacket Print Challenge — a contest that invites creators to showcase what “punk” means to them using digital assets curated by Thug. Those assets will then become the foundation for a custom jacket design inspired by the rapper’s forthcoming album, “Punk.”

“Creativity comes in many forms, but combine music, design, and fashion in the form of visionary artist Young Thug, and you’ve got magic,” Ann Lewnes — CMO and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Adobe — tells Complex. “Adobe’s thrilled to be partnering with creator extraordinaire Young Thug on a number of exciting creative projects around the launch of Punk.”

This partnership isn’t the first time Adobe has extended an opportunity to creators and given them a chance to show off their skills through projects with some of today’s biggest artists. However, Thug’s newfound collaboration is a first that’s allowing him to have fans and designers involved in his album rollout process in such a unique way.

“I’m so excited to be partnering with Adobe on this project,” he tells Complex. “Creativity is in my blood and my fans are my soul. I can’t wait to see how they all express themselves creatively within my world. Getting to see them involved inspires me to go even further. Creativity is PUNK.”

The design contest will have three tiers of victors that include three grand-prize winners, ten runner-ups and one fan-favorite. The top winners will receive $3,000 cash prizes, a 12-month Adobe All-Apps Creative Cloud subscription and the opportunity to have their design artwork turned into an actual jacket for Thug to wear.

In addition to his partnership, Thug has also been tapped to perform at Adobe MAX 2021 — a free global virtual creativity conference — which kicks off on Oct. 26, Complex reports. Ahead of that, his “Punk” album is expected to arrive on Oct. 15.

Submissions for the Young Thug Jacket Print Challenge are open now through Sept. 21 and can be shared on social media using the #YoungThugxAdobe hashtag.
