The Wendy Williams Show may have come to an end, but its former host has no plans of letting up on her media empire.

Upcoming Podcast From Wendy Williams

In an interview with Extra, Williams shared that her fan base can expect a podcast from her with iTunes on the way. The media mogul believes that the new venture will “make more money for me than doing the TV show,” according to her brief chat with TMZ.

Potential Celeb Guests

While the launch date is still pending, Williams has reportedly been preparing who will guest star on her podcast, according to its executive producer and her manager Will Selby. She’s said to have spoken with Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, the Kardashians, and a member of the Trump family.

Tabloid Frenzy

Since Williams’ absence from her TV show leading up to its final farewell after 13 seasons, speculations have flown around for why things came to an end.

As previously shared by AfroTech, it’s been reported that she is suffering from health issues, in addition to claims that she has been exploited. In March, Williams spoke out on the battle she was having with Wells Fargo.

“They say that I need somebody to handle my accounts, and I don’t want that. I want all my money,” she said in an interview (per The New York Post). “I want to see all my money that I worked hard for my entire life. My entire life. I don’t lie, and I don’t cheat, and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hardworking person.”

“Well, you know, when people want control of their accounts, they say anything, including something crazy like that about me,” Wendy Williams said after filing a restraining order against the banking giant. “I want to spend more time with my family, and, you know, working out and waiting for the responses to my money situation and Wells Fargo, and they don’t like that.”

Despite the tabloids and allegations, it appears that Williams is ready to kick off her podcast and get back in her element.
