Predictive talent and culture analytics company—OutMatch—acquired video interviewing solutions provider, Wepow, earlier this month in a move that will help strengthen the platform’s ability to identify and engage talent more effectively.
“The acquisition recognizes the importance of speed, engagement, and personal connection in today’s tight labor market,” said Greg Moran, CEO of OutMatch, in a press release. “Combining video interviewing with predictive analytics gives companies a competitive advantage, starting with early recruitment and ultimately helping them maximize the performance of their workforce.”
Wepow has helped clients like Adidas, Lenovo, and Box make interviewing candidates more personal and cost-effective.
OutMatch’s acquisition will increase its ability to assess culture fit, employee performance, and career growth, while keeping top candidates engaged and moving forward in the selection process.
“Wepow and OutMatch are a perfect match,” said Imo Udom, co-founder and CEO of Wepow. “As we continue to serve those clients and attract new ones, we are thrilled to become part of the OutMatch family, who shares our belief that every hire impacts business success.”
Udom founded the company with Jaime Romero in 2011. The company will maintain its offices and employees in Cupertino, California.
