Dave Chappelle and Hip-Hop Artists Dominate YouTube's Year-End Trending Videos Lists

It’s no secret that 2020 has been a huge year for Hip-Hop and Black culture, and it shows clearly on YouTube’s newly-released year-end trending videos and creators lists. According to YouTube’s official blog , three-time Grammy-winning comedian Dave Chappelle won big. He snagged the No. 1 spot for Top Trending Videos in the U.S. in 2020 with his exceptional special, 8:46 — the first in-person comedy set held since the pandemic hit which directly addressed the controversy surrounding George Floyd’s murder.
