Attention small business owners, FedEx’s annual grant competition is underway and $50,000 is on the line. Since 2013, FedEx has been awarding entrepreneurs with hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to kickstart their businesses. Business owners who have been operating for at least six months are encouraged to apply at with their business name, FedEx account number, address, elevator pitch, and of course a very compelling story about their business.  How did you get started? What’s special about your product? It’s also recommended you make a one-minute video describing your business and purpose. This will help in the long run. FedEx Launches Small Business Grant Contest

FedEx announced the launch of its eighth Small Business Grant Contest on Tuesday. The 2020 FedEx Grant Contest will allocate its grand prize pool of $252,500 to 12 eligible business owners. “FedEx is invested in helping small businesses grow and prosper and our mission is to help these entrepreneurs shine,” said Scott Harkins, senior vice president of Customer Experience Marketing at FedEx in a  press release. The prize packages are as follows: One Grand Prize: $50,000, plus $7,500 in FedEx Office print and business services One Silver Prize: $30,000, plus $5,000 in FedEx Office services Ten Bronze Prizes: $15,000, plus $1,000 in FedEx Office services To enter contestants must submit a short bio, logo, photos that capture the essence of their company, a 1-minute video, and encourage fans to vote for their small business.
