The Grammy award-winning musician and actor is set to be the leading voice in Disney and Pixar’s new movie, “Soul.” According to CNN , this will be Pixar’s first-ever Black-led animated movie in its 21 movie catalog. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the overall storyline of “Soul,” which follows middle school band teacher, Joe Gardner, on his quest to fulfill his life’s purpose, jazz. “I think Joe is having that crisis that all artists have,” director, Kemp Powers, said, according to The Walt Disney Company . “He’s increasingly feeling like his lifelong dream of being a jazz musician is not going to pan out and he’s asking himself ‘Why am I here?
