Tiffany & Co. To Launch Collection Of 250 NFTs For $50K A Piece

Luxury brand Tiffany & Co. is ready to ride the non-fungible token (NFT) wave. The company announced the launch of NFTiffs in a bold move to reach young and wealthy collectors. The collection will be available through CryptoPunks — one of the early pioneers of NFT collections — on Friday, Aug. 5. To no surprise, NFTiffs’ selling price is quite hefty, as only 250 NFTs will be up for grabs. The selling price is $50,000 (30 ether) and each customer can purchase up to three NFTs. “These clients obviously skew a bit younger than our [classic] client base. It’s an anonymous [population], it’s not like you know who owns what, but what we generally understand is that they are younger and very affluent, a lot of them made large amounts of money in the crypto sphere. People need to understand that a lot of the things in their world are linked to luxury like desirability, scarcity, trends — they understand the ups and downs,” said Tiffany & Co. Executive Vice President for Product and...

Drake Teams Up With Online Gambling Company Stake To Play To Win 'Real Money And Give It All To You'

Drake is a man who’s not only confident in his bars but also in his gambling. According to HipHopDX, the rapper has reportedly bet over $1 billion on online gambling company Stake since joining in December 2021. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Our Generation Music (@ourgenerationmusic) While his personal favorite appears to be online roulette — playing from his laptop at home to even NBA games — Drake recently placed a $1.25 million bet, said to be in Bitcoin. The bets included the Los Angeles Rams winning the Super Bowl, as well as on his close friend and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. scoring a touchdown. “All bets are in on the family,” he wrote on Instagram ahead of the football showdown. Following the Rams’ victory, Drake went on to receive his payout in CAD and Bitcoin, as previously reported by AfroTech. With plenty of the virtual gambler’s time spent on Stake, the outlet now reports he’s working with the platform for the greater good. In a joint Instagram post,...

Drake Placed More Than $1.25M In Super Bowl Bets — Here's How It Worked Out For Him

Editorial note: The winning wagers listed here are a speculative estimate drawn from a variety of online sources. — Drake is most certainly always “busy getting rich” — or richer. And this time, it’s thanks to his Super Bowl wagers. As AfroTech previously reported, the “Controlla” rapper wagered more than $1.25 million of his own money into Super Bowl wagers, and he won two out of the three bets he placed. The Action Network reported the breakdown of Drake’s wins. For betting on Odell Beckham Jr.’s anytime touchdown, he banked more than $710,000 USD. And for betting on a Rams win, he banked more than $710,000. So, we decided to do the math. That means, in total, he won more than $1.4 million USD. Considering he wagered the equivalent of $1.25 million USD, Drake potentially netted a profit of about $150,000 USD on the Super Bowl. And as AfroTech previously reported, it looks like Drake will be receiving his payout in Bitcoin, based on his Instagram post about the matter. And while...
