Jackson Family Values: How Each Of Michael Jackson's Siblings Are Financially Faring Today

When people think of the Jackson family, they automatically think of Janet Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, and of course, the late great Michael Jackson. But more than just producing these pop icons, Joseph and Katherine Jackson of Gary, IN forever changed the pop culture landscape. They brought to light the predatory nature of the music industry and protected their own against all interlopers. In so doing, the Jackson family became an unstoppable force. Despite the problems that Michael Jackson, especially, seemed to have with his father, he eventually forgave him and proclaimed an annual “Joseph Jackson Day” at Neverland Ranch. As Michael would later explain during an emotional speech at Carnegie Hall in 2001, his father was the product of the Great Depression and the Jim Crow era of the United States. And these traits hardened him emotionally. But, despite this, he did his best to give his children the best the world had to offer and did it in the face of all the detractors who said...

Here's How Michael Jackson's Kids Are Maintaining His Multi-Million Dollar Legacy — And Obtaining Their Own

Michael Jackson wasn’t just an entertainer. He was a legacy and a legend — the likes of which we will never see in our lifetimes again. But when he died, the affairs of his estate were a bit contentious. According to the Associated Press, Jackson’s estate was worth $482 million when he passed in 2009. However, the estate hotly contested that value — mostly because of the estate bill that was prepared that was “far too high” for the heirs. Ultimately, in May 2021, Judge Mark Holmes ruled that the Michael Jackson estate was worth $111 million. The ruling in the estate’s favor in May 2021 means that the IRS must recalculate the taxes owed, and this time, they must not include any penalties or fees. The heirs in question — sons Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. and Prince “Blanket” Jackson II, and daughter Paris — however, are set for life. According to Life & Style Magazine, each of the children receives an $8 million allowance yearly. When the children turn 33, they will each acquire equal...

Here's A Look At How The Legendary Michael Jackson's Estate Has Grown Over The Years

When mentioning the term “legacy,” the name Michael Jackson most likely follows. Unfortunately, we are only left with his legacy — and what a legacy it was. Throughout his lifetime, Jackson became the undisputed King of Pop. He is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with an estimated 400 million units in sales. He has earned 15 Grammy Awards, a Juno Award, six Brit Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and 39 Guinness World Records, including the “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time.” And he’s also one of the only musicians to ever be inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame twice (once as a member of The Jackson Five, and once as a solo artist). Yet, today, the Michael Jackson estate puts out little, if anything, about one of the greatest musicians of all time. Why? “Given how much has been done in the first decade following Michael’s tragic and untimely passing, it should not be a surprise that there is a natural slowing and spreading out of major releases as the Estate...
