Kukua, a multidisciplinary media and technology startup that combines entertainment and education to inspire today’s generation of children, has announced its new partnership with Oscar-winning superstar Lupita Nyong’o. According to a press release announcement, this partnership not only  includes the actress as a shareholder but also features Nyong’o as an executive producer of the “Super Sema” animated series, which is being billed as “Africa’s first kid superhero animated series.” “74% of characters on TV remain white, and only a few portray black female leads in STEAM. Lupita Nyong'o Surprises All-girls STEM school in Atlanta During An Appearance

Girls at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy got a star-studded surprise visit from Lupita Nyong’o and anchor Robin Roberts earlier this week. The “Black Panther” star made an appearance at the all-girls STEM school in Atlanta to congratulate students on their community efforts, according to Good Morning America. Nyong’o was awarded the title of “Most Likely to Succeed” from the GMA Yearbook and shared words of inspiration to girls who were also selected as most likely to succeed in their class. “When I look into this room I see problem solvers. I see creative thinkers.
