Nonprofit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) made history last week after announcing a big change in their leadership team. According to their announcement, BBBSA appointed Artis Stevens — SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of youth organization National 4-H Council — as their new CEO. The new appointment makes it the first time ever in the nonprofit’s 116-year history that a Black executive will serve in such a role at the company.
