Hip-Hop superstar and entrepreneur Rick Ross and telehealth company Jetdoc have announced a strategic partnership to deliver affordable access to healthcare to millions of consumers.
Founded by healthcare veteran Tommy Duncan, Jetdoc — a revolutionary digital healthcare platform connecting patients with medical professionals –provides affordable virtual healthcare to consumers.
Additionally, the brand offers instant access to telehealth sessions with board-certified doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
According to a press release, the digital healthcare company has signed Ross on as a spokesperson, investor and advisor to the brand.
In his new role, Ross will appear in Jetdoc’s creative campaigns, digital, and television ads, as well as other promotional activations, designed to educate consumers about the company’s innovative offering in the healthcare system.

“As an active artist and businessman, I often don’t have time to see a doctor. I’d make excuses and prioritize my healthcare second to my hustle,” Ross shared in a press statement. “Jetdoc is a convenient and affordable alternative to going into a doctor’s office. To me, it’s really the future of healthcare. I wanted to be a part of empowering people to take control of their health regardless of their circumstances. Jetdoc puts the power of managing our health into our own hands.”
Along with their national rollout and partnership announcement, Jetdoc has offered an exclusive early access promo on their website that includes free virtual doctor visits for first and early adopters.
With this partnership, Jetdoc is setting out to create a new standard for virtual doctor visits that provides efficient, reliable, and private care at rapid speed.
According to Duncan, Jetdoc not only works to alleviate the financial burden that healthcare causes, but also to improve access to both preventative and urgent care.
“Healthcare isn’t just a passion for me, it’s a must,” Duncan shared in a statement. “I had a stroke when I was 30 and despite working in the industry, I still had difficulty in getting proper care. So with Jetdoc, we created a tool that empowers everyone to take control and affordably manage their own healthcare. Adding Rick Ross to the team made perfect sense because he immediately understood our mission and he embodies the spirit of both ownership in both health and business.”
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital healthcare landscape has changed drastically this year and uprooted the traditional sense of medical care solutions.
With Jetdoc, the brand is aiming to redefine the future of medicine for both consumers and healthcare providers to discover affordable, convenient, and high-quality virtual care.
The JetDoc app is currently in beta and serving patients in the Florida area with plans of launching in more states starting in 2021.
