Tech entrepreneur Tanya Sam made quite an impression when she made her debut on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 11 as Nene Leakes’ friend. The Toronto native’s presence was instantly a sweet relief amid the hit show’s constant shade-throwing and alpha personalities. Thus, Sam is quickly becoming a favorite among viewers.

Now, the savvy businesswoman is offering her faithful fans a little more face time with “It’s Tanya Time Cyber Book Club.”

On Thursday (March 26), Sam announced the online reading group for “Book nerds and bored people,” via Instagram. The material, “Such a Fun Age” by Kiley Reid, will be discussed weekly. If you’re behind, don’t trip. The TV personality advises you to “plan to catch up to us next week.”

Rules of book club engagement include “No Mean People” and “No Negative Comments.” Plus, she intends to go live with fans who join the discussion.

While many wonder when Sam will get an official peach, she is not rushing to become a full-time “RHOA” cast member. Currently, she owns an investment company, The Ambition Fund, and maintains her role as director of partnerships at TechSquare Labs in ATL.

“I kind of love being the friend to the show, it’s really the best of both worlds,” she said during a recent Instagram Live chat. “I have autonomy. No one can tell me like when you have to show up, for what. I can still travel so I kind of like it.”

So while the main stars of the show—Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, and Eva Marcille—are contracted to long, exhausting shoot days, Sam’s relaxed commitment allows her to pick and choose when she wants to schmooze.

“I get to host trips, I get to travel, and when I have to work I can go, ‘Sorry guys, I can’t show up for eight hours of taping today because I have to work.’”
