Ready to help you “unleash your inner disco and feel the moonlight wherever you are!” — according to her company’s website — Adrienne Cooper, the founder of Moonlight Roller is ready to take the roller skating industry by storm.

According to WRCB-TV, after the pandemic put a halt to Cooper’s plans of opening a 21-plus roller lounge in Chattanooga, she shifted to mobile skate parties — Moonlight x Mobile — popping up for events around the area. She later expanded her empire even further through her own line of roller skates.

Since the debut of her collection during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in May 2020, Cooper has reportedly drew in over $3 million in sales. She also picked up traction on YouTube where her early video reviews of the boots have gained popularity.

“The skates like sold out overnight and I was like OMG we have to have employees to sell these skates,” said Cooper in an interview with WRCB-TV. “Inspiring to Black women, inspiring to veterans, inspiring to women in general. They can do something that people think is a niche and maybe one day it’ll blow up.”

Adding to her list of accomplishments, Cooper recently announced that she was listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 list in an Instagram post.
