Meek Mill is putting a whole new spin on one of his most iconic opening lyrics, “I use to pray for times like this….”

Recently, the Philly native tweeted his desire to get a piece of Twitter. Meek used the social media platform to make a proposition to Elon Musk about being an investor in the company once the massive acquisition is officially complete.

“Elon musk let us invest in Twitter with you ‘big homie’,” Meek tweeted to Musk.

Sharing The Wealth

As previously reported by AfroTech, Musk is set to buy Twitter for $54.20 per share, which equates to approximately $44 billion. And, during all of the hype around the big purchase, Musk released plans to take Twitter private. However, the social media platform is still a publicly-traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. If Musk is open to Meek’s proposition before he possibly gears up to take the company private, the Dreams and Nightmares rapper could own a piece of the proverbial pie.

As of this writing, Musk, who is usually very active and responsive on Twitter, has not responded to Meek Mill.

What's Meek Mill's Net Worth?

Meek Mill’s current net worth sits at $20 million. While this number puts him among the most affluent in the United States, it pales in comparison to the massive $268 billion net worth of Elon Musk — the wealthiest person in the world, according to Investopedia.

Born Robert Rahmeek Williams, Meek Mill is not new to investing. In 2021, he poured over $50,000 into Dogecoin, a popular cryptocurrency. In addition to this, he co-purchased sports apparel company Mitchell & Ness, with Jay-Z, Lil Baby, and Michael Rubin. What’s more, the deal was reportedly valued at $250 million.
