Tee Grizzley has joined a gaming initiative that is set to bring joy to former inmates.
The Detroit rapper has teamed up with esports organization XSET, which was announced on Grizzley World RP — his Grand Theft Auto Server — according to a press release. The recent news makes him “the first talent that has ever joined a gaming organization live in-game.”

Within the partnership, the new duo will invite former inmates to get involved in gaming with the aim to help them with the hurdle of re-entering society. As someone who was previously in prison and is a gamer himself, he hopes the games can help others the same way they did for him. It also serves as a way for people to earn a source of income instead of harmful ways of doing so.
“I’m excited to join XSET and take Grizzley Gang Gaming to the next level,” said Grizzley in a statement. “I’ve always loved gaming for fun, but now it’s so much more than that. I’ve seen how this industry can really change lives and I can’t wait to provide more opportunities for people who have faced similar challenges and adversities as I have.”
XSET CBDO and Co-founder Clinton Sparks shares a statement:
“XSET is about pushing boundaries and redefining the world of gaming. We are excited to welcome Tee Grizzley to the set to help give a second chance to those who need one, as well as continuing to introduce gaming to those unfamiliar with the opportunities it provides. XSET is building the worlds greatest culture club and Tee with his music, gaming and entrepreneurial spirit is an amazing representation of what that means.”
Tee Grizzley x XSET Merchandise
The collaboration between Tee Grizzley and XSET also includes a merchandise store for gamers in Grizzley World RP, the press release shares. With the sales of the first installment of t-shirts, the proceeds will go toward gifting gaming consoles to former inmates.
