The prayers of Tabitha Brown’s fans have been answered!
In May 2022, the serial entrepreneur and social media personality landed a first-of-its-kind deal with Target with four limited-time collections, as previously reported by AfroTech. Earlier this year, Brown’s food line became a massive hit — so much so that Target is extending its time on store shelves.
During ESSENCE Festival of Culture 2023, Brown announced via an Instagram post that her food collection will be at Target permanently starting in 2024. What’s more, Donna’s Recipe, her hair-care company, is set to be on the company’s shelves as well.
Brown has quite a testimony to tell when it comes to the power of perseverance. As she gets closer to her sixth anniversary of going vegan, she took a moment to reflect on her immense gratitude for the numerous life challenges she says God has brought her through, including fighting physical sickness, depression, and financial hardship.

“I didn’t know if I was coming or going, and I also didn’t know if I was going to live or die,” Brown shared via Instagram. “I felt stuck, and I was desperate to be made whole.”
She added, “In the last six years, my life has changed in a way that I could never imagine.”
After recalling her journey, Brown shared gratitude for her fans sticking with her and encouraged them to hang in on their own fight.
“If He did it for me, He will and can do it for you,” Brown declared. “Six years ago, I didn’t have no money. I didn’t have a career. I didn’t have health. I didn’t even have a strong mental capacity to see the light, yet He pulled me out of it and here I am.”
