You may or may not be familiar with the lyrics: “I just took a DNA test. Turns out, I’m 100 percent that b–h.”

The lyrics were the opening of Lizzo’s massive hit, “Truth Hurts” — which was released in 2017 but became popular in 2019 —  and signifies that the pop star knows exactly who she is.

However, now it’s even more official.

On Feb. 2, Lizzo was granted the trademark for “100% That B–h” to use on apparel, Forbes reports.

The approval follows after her eight failed attempts to trademark the phrase, per data from Trademark Electronic Search System.

Forbes shares that Lizzo requested to trademark it in 2022 but was rejected because it was ruled that it was “commonplace expression,” as well as “not specific enough to warrant a trademark.”

Now, the previous rejection has been overturned and she has been granted exclusive permission from a group within the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

What’s more, the office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled that consumers would associate the phrase with Lizzo and her music, regardless of whether it’s coming from a third party.

Going from rejected to approved for the trademark isn’t Lizzo’s first rodeo in regard to battles over “100% That B–h.”

After learning that the phrase was created by singer Mina Lioness, she added a credit for her which allowed her to receive royalties, according to the outlet.

“I later learned that a tweet inspired the meme. The creator of the tweet is the person I am sharing my success with,” Lizzo shared in a statement in 2019.

Additionally, the hitmaker sued producers Justin and Jeremiah Raisen, who made claims that they were a part of the lyric.

However, the two parties reached an agreement later in 2022,
