Lil Baby has made it his mission to support his city.

Fox 5 Atlanta reports that the rapper joined forces with Goodr for the third year of his annual Back to School Fest in Atlanta, GA.

Supporting The Atlanta Community

On Aug. 7, Lil Baby showed up and showed out at The Mall West End on Oak Street for 3,000 kids.

“We are grateful to Lil Baby for his continued resolution in giving back to his community,” Goodr CEO Jasmine Crowe said, according to the outlet. “It is an honor to continually team up with such a household name to relieve some of the ongoing financial burden people are facing.”

The Free Celebration

During the celebratory bash, the Grammy-winning artist looked out for his community by providing food, school supplies, backpacks, shoes from Foot Locker Atlanta, haircuts, and carnival rides — all for free.

Lil Baby's Commitment To Education

In 2020, Lil Baby launched a $150,000 scholarship fund during a visit to his former high school, Booker T. Washington High School, in partnership with Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation, Quality Control Music, Wolfpack Global, and Motown Records, AfroTech previously reported.

“A majority of the students in these neighborhoods, when they have good grades most of them don’t have support,” he told Billboard at the time. “They don’t have a family who can afford to [send them] to a good college or the college they want to go to.”
