It appears that Future is venturing into the medical marijuana industry.

The Atlanta rapper’s legal team has reportedly filed six trademarks for the name “EVOL BY FUTURE,” according to trademark attorney Clarissa Harvey.

“On 2/17/23- his legal team filed six 1(b) intent-to-use trademark applications in several classes for “EVOL BY FUTURE” to be used in connection w/ smoking lounge services, vape pens, medicated oil, etc,” Harvey wrote in a tweet.

Based on the trademark filings, EVOL BY FUTURE is set to provide a website that features health information in the medical marijuana and cannabis field. Additionally, there will be medicated oral sprays for pain relief; medicated creams and lotions, namely, medicated pain relief creams and lotions; electronic oral vaporizer pens for smoking purposes, sold empty; electronic cigarettes, cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, herbs for smoking; and more.

Along with the medical marijuana and cannabis products, the filings also show that there will be apparel including headwear and shirts.

EVOL BY FUTURE isn’t Future’s first instance of filing trademarks.

As previously reported by AfroTech, his team filed an official trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2020 for Sinsational by Future. The intent-to-use application was filed as part of his plan to enter into the fragrance industry with categories of perfumes, fragrances, and perfumery. Then, on April 19, 2022, the application was updated with a Notice of Allowance.

Sinsational is pending, but there was a recent promotional trailer for it on Instagram.

However, in the music world, Future is continuing to make moves.

As AfroTech told you, his publishing catalog reportedly sold for around eight figures.

“I put everything into my music, and I wanted to make sure these were in good hands as I thought about the next chapter of these songs,” Future said in a press release. “I’m proud to partner up with Rene and the team at Influence Media and send a signal that this music has timeless value. My music is my art, and these songs represent some of the most precious artwork of my career.”
