50 Cent is taking additional steps toward ownership after departing from STARZ in 2022.

“09-17-22 official day of really owning my content & deciding where and how i do it moving forward,” he said on Instagram.

What’s more, according to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, the rapper had filed various trademarks under his NYC Vibe LLC that could spawn other TV shows, documentaries, and movies, among other ventures, as AfroTech previously mentioned.

50 Cent has been building his television dominance for a long time, as evidenced by his various projects, including “Power,” “Power Book II: Ghost,” “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” “Black Mafia Family (BMF),” and “Power Book IV: Force,” all of which he produces through his production company, G-Unit Film & Television Inc.

Additionally, 50 Cent has a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal with Fox Entertainment Studios, allowing him to create scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series engineered through G-Unit Film & Television. Projects created through the partnership will be produced and owned by Fox Entertainment, Variety previously reported.

“Whether it’s music, film or television, Curtis [50 Cent] always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe,” Michael Thorn, Fox Entertainment’s president, said in a statement. “He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.”
