Bored Ape Yacht Club
Bored Ape Yacht Club was created by four friends who wanted to create cool digital art and aimed to “build something (ridiculous),” according to the company website. The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs can acquire over 170 potential traits such as expression, headwear, clothing, and more.
Bored Ape Yacht Club has already trumped expectations, despite being in its inaugural year. Its NFT collection has already become some of the highest-earning and most popular on the market. Now, it boasts a sales turnover of over $1 billion since launching in April of 2021, according to data from CryptoSlam.
Soaring In Popularity
In addition to Kevin Hart, Bored Ape Yacht’s digital tokens have been purchased by Stephen Curry, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and more.
