Justin Harlow’s dental practice is expanding across Charlotte, NC.

The dentist leads Harlow Dental, which offers cosmetic dentistry, invisible aligners, tooth extractions, dental implants, and porcelain veneers, among others.

Per the company website, the clinic also has the latest technology to provide care for its patients. These improvements include digital X-rays that use less radiation.

“The old-fashioned, uncomfortable, traditional dental x-ray is a thing of the past. Digital radiography has not only sped up the x-ray process, these modern x-ray machines give off much less radiation, making them safer for all patients,” the website mentioned. “In addition, both dentist and patient can view digital x-rays immediately. The images created by these x-rays can also be enhanced, showing a level of detail that is just not possible with traditional x-rays. The results can easily be emailed to specialists or your insurance company, offering a much higher level of convenience.”

Other technological advancements include a panoramic X-ray unit to capture all teeth in one image; teeth whitening, which uses UV-light; and rotary endodontics to make root canal procedures more comfortable while removing infection.

“Dentistry doesn’t have to be scary … We strive to create a comfortable environment,” Harlow said, according to QCity Metro. “We use modern technology to alleviate anxiety and offer distractions to our patients, like TVs and music tailored to their preferences.”

While the focus remains on quality care, the dental practice is also working on growing its business. On Aug. 5, 2024, its newest location opened at 3211 Eastway Drive, Suite 1, becoming the third within the Harlow Dental portfolio.

“We are here as a Black-owned provider in Charlotte who values family and community, and we’re proud of that,” Harlow explained, according to QCity Metro. “The idea is to provide quality dental care for everyone, and we do this with pride.”

What’s more, Harlow Dental is reportedly the largest Black-owned dental practice in the city.

“We are excited about this expansion,” Harlow expressed. “Out of the commercial dental practices in the area, we’re one of the few with three locations. Our aim remains to be a full-service dental provider, and we want to be accessible to the community.”
