With support from mom and brother Sebastian, the business venture has active customers throughout the family’s community.
“It makes me feel so good to give people water ice. I love it. It’s kind of my thing,” Anderson told ABC 7 News.
Breonna added, “It kept him up at night, all he talked about. So after playing around with mixes and flavors, the next thing I know he’s setting up and selling water ice outside. I support him in everything he does.”
The family’s dedication to the business has been paying off. Already they have secured nearly 800 bookings for 2023 at locations including schools, summer camps, parades, and food drives.
In addition to pushing the business into their community, the family are also investing directly into youth. According to a post shared on Instagram, Da Cooler Boyz will host a back-to-school drive for the upcoming 2023-24 academic school year. Students will be provided free school supplies along with treats. Tutors, coaches, and daycares will also be present to sign up children for the school year.
