AfroTech’s flagship podcast has a new home with Charlamagne Tha God and iHeartMedia’s podcast network.

Media company Blavity Inc. — the diverse hub behind AfroTech, 21Ninety, Travel Noire, Shadow and Act and Blavity News — has partnered with The Black Effect Podcast Network to distribute AfroTech’s Black Tech Green Money podcast.

The podcast — hosted by entrepreneur, content creator, and AfroTech Brand Manager Will Lucas — is a premier show that shares the success stories of Black entrepreneurs and technologists, and drops a wealth of knowledge on money-building strategies from a nuanced Black perspective.

“Black Tech Green Money is a podcast for us, by us—designed to help us find our path to wealth and legacy in tech,” Lucas says. “With Charlamagne and The Black Effect Podcast Network, we’re set up to reach so many more people all over the world.”

The distribution of the podcast means a wider audience for Black Tech Green Money, and more support from a podcast network that prioritizes the need for Black voices in the digital audio space.

Moreover, the show provides more exposure and awareness around Black people in the tech industry who are making moves and offering a new sense of representation for us in a space where we’re often overlooked.

“If we don’t get Black people more aware and invested in the tech world, so many of us will get left behind,” said Charlamagne Tha God in a statement. “‘Black Tech Green Money’ is a game changer. They are translating tech with a cultural fluency for the unique Black experience and revealing where and how best to create pathways to invest in future wealth creation. As a fan of the AfroTech movement and Will Lucas, it’s an honor and a privilege to assist and amplify their efforts to educate our people.”

All episodes of Black Tech Green Money can now be heard on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are found. New episodes drop every Tuesday.
