The annual AfroTech Conference is officially coming back in person, and it’s going to be even bigger than ever!

While being widely known as the largest event for Black techies to network and build community, for the first time ever, there will be an inaugural music experience at the AfroTech Conference 2022, and tickets are now live.

Hosted in Austin, TX — the “live music capital of the world” — it’s only right to bring some of today’s hottest Black artists center stage during the nation’s largest multicultural tech gathering.

The lineup features Bia, Zaytoven, Bas, DJ Moma, Mélat, and more. Attendees will also have the chance to party with Broccoli City — the host of one of Washington, D.C.’s biggest music events — and RNB House Party — the traveling unique party experience that delivers nostalgic vibes — following the music festival. What’s more, the after-party is expected to host over 10,000 attendees from across the world.

“We are thrilled to bring such incredible musical talent to the AfroTech stage, and expand the AfroTech Franchise to include a music festival. This is especially fitting since our annual conference is being held in the live music capital of the world,” said Morgan DeBaun, CEO of Blavity, Inc., owner of AfroTech in a statement. “We are also excited to host our conference live and in-person after hosting it in a metaverse the last two years. The addition of our live music festival truly rounds out the entire AfroTech experience as we celebrate Black and multicultural innovators, and these rising creative artists.”

For avid fans of music festivals, the only place to be on Nov. 13-17, 2022 is the Austin Convention Center for the AfroTech Conference, to not only watch live performances from the packed lineup but to be one of the first to experience the inaugural two-day event right in the heart of Austin, TX.

In addition to the live music series, the AfroTech Conference 2022 is set to feature exclusive programming, panels, and Q&As — courtesy of today’s top Black innovators — the AfroTech Cup Pitch Competition (CPG) and AlphaNoire Web3 Pitch Competition. The ultimate mission is to bring the Black tech, Web3, and the business community together for “connection, celebration, and entertainment.”
