BeyGOOD is supporting a nonprofit that cultivates the next generation of leaders.

The public charity foundation is Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s brainchild and was launched with a mission that “everyone has the right to economic equity,” according to its website. BeyGOOD is guided by three pillars: education (youth creative development and scholarships); entrepreneurship (providing small business owners with the knowledge, capital, and tools to thrive); and community response (supporting grassroots organizations and investing in resilience in partnership with community leaders).

Its most recent efforts include a $50,000 grant to In a Perfect World, an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization championing future changemakers through education, creativity, social consciousness, and leadership, according to its website. Its initiatives include REACH (Rural Education and Community Harmony), which provides schools and other resources that equip students to thrive, and Youth Ambassadors, which equips teens with social-emotional and leadership skills to prepare for their future, among others.

“On behalf of Mrs. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Ms. Tina Knowles, we are just grateful for you to be in this ecosystem now because, again, we see the good work you’re doing and we know that you will continue to do it without a doubt,” Allana J. Barefield, BeyGOOD’s digital editorial content manager, said in a video shared on Instagram.

In a Perfect World has supported 35 school projects in eight countries; more than 500 high-poverty classrooms; and 20,000 hours of youth-led service, with 50,000 lives touched globally, per its website. The grant from BeyGOOD exemplifies its belief in the nonprofit organization led by Manuela Testolini (founder and CEO).

“One of the things I’m most proud of is taking young leaders from the United States to Central America to build schools for indigenous communities there, to build with them. They’re young leaders here, but how do they take what they’re doing across borders? How do they help other young people find their voice and have their place in the world,” Testolini said in the video. “This very generous grant is going to allow us to expand programming to hundreds more kids who need our support. Between all of the cuts to education, cuts to after-school programming, creative programming, we are so needed right now, and this could not come at a better time.”
