Ten-year-old Ava N. Simmons is making a big impact as an entrepreneur!

Black News reports Simmons and her sister Chynah Jeter have secured retail partnerships across the United States and Canada to launch their Team Genius Squad educational toy line inspired by science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Featured products include puzzles, coloring books, apparel, and experiment lab kits that make it possible for children to make electricity from alternative sources.

In celebration, Simmons shared a video of herself admiring her product at Marbles PlayStore in Raleigh, NC, on Instagram. This marks the first store launch. More will follow in the next 12 months, according to the outlet.

“My sister Chynah Jeter and I did an amazing thing! Our cost-effective Educational S.T.E.M. Kits that we started with wire & plastic pouches at our kitchen table are now available on store shelves,” Simmons wrote on a separate Instagram post. “We are so proud to bring our products to shelves across the US and abroad!”

She continued, “Marbles Play Store in Raleigh, NC was one of 1st stores to bless us with this opportunity which opened doors for us with other retail stores. Thank you Marbles Play Store! Please ensure you make a visit there a priority and send us a pic of your purchase so we can formally thank you!”

Currently, Team Genius Squad includes 15 STEM toys, and there could be new items on the way.

What’s more, outside of her products landing on store shelves, Simmons hopes her efforts will reach 2 million households globally, according to the company website.

“I am so grateful to be able to design and develop educational toys that positively impact the community,” Simmons expressed, per Black News. “My goal is to share my learning journey and, through purposeful play, encourage others never to let their challenges define their success or future. I am so thankful for everyone who supports Team Genius Squad!”
