Minority professionals, get ready! Accenture, one of Fortune’s 2018 Best Places to Work, is collaborating with HBCU 20×20 – a company connecting Black college students and grads with quality career opportunities – to bring their nationally recognized event Network to NetWorth (N2N) to a city near you. The event provides a unique forum for peers and industry influencers to network.

At Network to NetWorth, attendees have the opportunity to network with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) alums, local diverse professionals and members of diversity organizations. In addition, Accenture leadership and hiring managers will be in attendance.

“With Network to NetWorth, our goal is to create more meaningful opportunities for minorities to connect with our recruiting team, and to share their expertise, passions and aspirations. We want to open doors to opportunities at Accenture and in the technology industry that otherwise might seem closed,” says Chantel Soverall, Accenture’s North America Ethnicity Recruiting Lead and Network to NetWorth Program Lead.

The goal of the Accenture company is to work with clients in order to apply innovation and intelligence to the heart of their organizations.

“At its core, this is an open forum for minority talent to connect with hiring managers in a very human way and a chance to ultimately land a career of their dreams at a best-in-class company,” she added.

Operating in more than 120 countries, Accenture provides expertise in over 40 industries and all business functions. Accenture employees come from diverse backgrounds, working together to solve industries’ and organizations’ most challenging problems with leading-edge technologies. Inclusion and diversity is fundamental to the innovative, competitive, and creative solutions that Accenture delivers for its clients.

Since launching Network to NetWorth in February 2018, the program has seen major success in five cities — Atlanta, Houston, Oakland/San Francisco, Chicago and New York. Accenture will continue hosting the event series in select U.S. cities to provide minority talent the chance to “speed network” their way to exciting career opportunities. The next event will be taking place in Washington, D.C. this spring.
