The world of social media competitions just got a little weirder.

A lone egg has beat out Kylie Jenner for the title of having the most liked Instagram post.

The @world_record_egg account, which only has one post, currently has more than 3 million followers.

The egg posted more than a week ago with the caption “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million). We got this!”

The egg surpassed Jenner Sunday night and currently has 29.6 million likes and more than 1.2 million comments filled with egg puns.

Kylie Jenner responded to the egg on her Instagram page with a video of her cracking an egg with the caption “take that little egg.”

The egg account has not stopped its journey toward stardom and is looking to be verified on Instagram. The account announced earlier today that it will be releasing egg merchandise.

“It doesn’t end here. We’re only just getting started. #EggGang,” the account said on its Instagram Story.”
