The power of culture is all around us. The genius minds who show us new ways of doing things, invent the waves, and turn hype into enduring trends that change the world. TxO is an initiative to help the best culture driven consumer startup companies and give them the tools and access to build something great. According to an overview on their website, their Talent x Opportunity (TxO) Initiative has a goal to help emerging cultural geniuses by providing them access to a new system of training, mentorship, and funding that will help entrepreneurs build successful, durable companies around their cultural innovations.

This initiative has four components: The TxO Fund, a Donor Advised Fund managed by Tides Foundation; The TxO University, a 10-month mentorship and online training program specifically designed for culture drive startups; The TxO Partners, a select group of corporations that will contribute services, products, and expertise to TxO companies; and lastly The TxO Community, a collection of mentors, donors, and eventually alumni who will support TxO founders.

According to the company’s website, all returns generated by the holdings will go directly back into the fund with a vision of continuing to support many generations of founders. Contributors to the fund will also not receive any return of appreciation or capital on the fund’s investments.
