When Master P built No Limits from the ground up, selling over 100 million records, he really meant that the possibilities were limitless!

According to Daily Lincoln News, Percy “Master P” Miller has received an honorary doctorate in humane letters this past Sunday at Lincoln’s Beginning of 2021.

The Hip-Hop mogul, producer actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who is also the founder of No Limit Records was one of more than 400 graduates who attended the ceremony.

“I guess I got to change my name to, Dr. P. Miller,” he wrote. “From the projects to getting a Doctoral degree from @lincolnuniversityofpa. Don’t be afraid to change, grow and educate yourself. I did it! You can do it. #GODISGOOD #Nevertoolate #hbcu #NoLimit There is NO limit to your dreams #DRPMiller.”

Among the recipients of the honorary degrees were Jay-Z’s mother, Gloria Carter, co-founder and executive director of the Shawn Carter Foundation (SCF), former Lincoln University professor Charles V. Hamilton, and renowned professor and author Michael Eric Dyson.

Lincoln University was founded as the Ashmun Institute in 1854 and is the very first degree-granting Historically Black College and University located near Oxford, PA.

The university recognized Master P, born Percy Miller for his work as a mogul, actor, producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.

Most recently, Master P has continued to place his stake in the foodservice business through the creation of Uncle P’s — a line of “Louisiana Seasoned” food products of which a portion of sales will benefit specific Black causes.

“You make everything look easy but they don’t see the sleepless nights,” wrote Master P’s eldest son Romeo Miller in a comment under his post. “I always pray to God to protect you because you only get sleep/rest on the plane. Congrats Dr. P and keep inspiring. Love u pops #NoLimit @masterp.”

According to Daily Lincoln News, over 400 graduates attended the ceremony with six of them being valedictorians.
