This founder turned his acne woes into dough!

Kri Peck has always been one to stand out and go against the norm. Whether it’s through his work as a publicist or an advocate within the LGBTQIA+ community, he isn’t afraid to use his platform and voice to prompt change.

Now, he’s changing the skincare game!

KRI SKIN was launched to help others with their skincare journey. The publicist, actor, and now entrepreneur has made the decision to use a solution that worked for him to help eradicate acne, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars.

After struggling with horrible cystic acne for over 10 years and coming up short on finding products that worked, Kri took matters into his own hands.

“I basically tried everything on the market, everything over the counter and everything prescribed to me by dermatologists and nothing works,” said Kri in an official interview with AfroTech. “And so I was like I’ve got to figure out a way to treat my skin because my mental health is messed up. I wasn’t liking the person that I was looking at when I looked into the mirror and because of that I wasn’t speaking confidently out of fear that people were judging my skin.”

“It was very important for me to come up with something to treat my skin, I wasn’t even focused on selling the products at first,” he continued.

From there Kri partnered with a chemist based in China and together they came up with a formula that he tested out himself before ultimately sending feedback to switch some of the ingredients around.

“For about two years, we went back and forth on what ingredients worked for my skin and what didn’t before he finally sent back about six products that worked,” he said.

Not only did the products clear up his acne, but it also rid his skin of hyperpigmentation and left him with a glow.

“I would walk into rooms full of people that I didn’t know and they would give me compliments on my skin,” he continued. “And that was something I had never done before.”

Since the products were successful, Kri knew that he wanted to help others. Now KRI SKIN has four products available: The Gentle Daily Cleanser, Advanced Hydration Facial Cream, Luminating Light & Bright Serum, and a Detoxifying Pink Clay Mask.
