This little guy is a genius!

Per ESSENCE, last week, a mother by the name of Victoria disclosed a story about her son Elijah who got into serious trouble at his school for hacking their virtual classes.

Not only did Elijah get in trouble with the school, but law enforcement also got involved after blocking his school’s classes by tapping into the internet server that they operated under.

Victoria detailed how her son, four police officers, the district attorney’s office, superintendent, principal, and three IT technicians were awaiting her once she arrived to figure out what was going on.

“He was shaking, very visibly upset,” she explained as she pondered what could have gone wrong. “What possibly could my 11-year-old child who is in 5th grade have done that has warranted all of this police activity?”

She was blown away after finding out what had been going down.

“He has been controlling the Internet at the school for the past 3 months,” Victoria shared in a TikTok video.

Elijah managed to successfully shut and turn off the Internet at his leisure, which ultimately stopped teachers from being able to communicate and led to the cancellation of classes.

Luckily, his punishment included virtual responsibilities and community service to avoid a court appearance. There also weren’t any charges that were pressed against him.

Internet users took to the comments in the viral video with about two million views and counting to sing the 11-year-old prodigy’s praises.

“Federal charges against an 11-year-old is a bit much,” one user commented. “They should’ve been talking about how to get him into a gifted program.”

Another asked if he could help take care of those pesky student loans that many face following their post-secondary education.

“Can he hack sally mae???!!!,” another person commented. And, Victoria shared that Elijah’s father made the same request.

In a follow-up video, Elijah appeared on camera while his mother explained the consequences, which included computer programming, where he managed to create a virtual basketball game in two hours.

“I knew he was smart,” she added. “Does he make the best choices all of the time? No, but we are working on that, and he is a very good child. Overall he’s a good boy.”

We may need to add Elijah to the AfroTech payroll with skills like that!
