These West Coast legends are cooking up something huge… literally.
According to HipHopDX, rappers-turned-businessmen Snoop Dogg and E-40 have revealed they will release their first collaborative cookbook.
“Goon With The Spoon” will share more than 65 recipes with a musical twist involving the catalogs of both emcees.

“E-40 is my big homie, my brother, my mentor,” Snoop Dogg said in a foreword for the forthcoming book. “Watching him expand his love for food and cooking over the years to his many successful businesses is some boss-level sh*t. Which is why ‘Snoop Dogg Presents Goon With the Spoon’ had to be the next cookbook, ya dig?”
No stranger to the food industry, this is Snoop Dogg’s second cookbook. His first, “From Crook To Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen,” was released in 2018 by Chronicle Books, the same company that will publish the new book on Nov. 14.
Making Waves In The Food Industry
As previously reported by AfroTech, E-40 has already made quite the name for himself within the culinary field. The “Tell Me When To Go” emcee once shared that his Goon With The Spoon food company is a dream come true.
“Fulfilled a lifelong dream today with the formal launch of my GOON WITH THE SPOON brand & inaugural sausage line,” E-40 wrote in a post shared on Twitter in October 2021. “We’re in production and about to take over the food industry now.”

What’s more, Snoop Dogg’s and E-40’s ventures as businessmen outside of their rap careers are something that fellow peers are pursuing as well.
Everyone from Styles P, Jadakiss, and Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah to Mia X, Yo-Yo, Nicki Minaj, and many more, have successfully launched food businesses or products to the masses proving that they aim to build legacies beyond just the music.
