Tracy McGrady Says His Wife Is 'On Top Of My Business' And Encouraged Him To Hire Auditors After His First Big NBA Contract

This was not, however, his first lucrative contract. Just ahead of the 1997 draft, his talents landed him a $12 million shoe endorsement deal with Adidas, as AFROTECH™ previously reported. Making that kind of money at 18 came with its learning curves. McGrady grew up in a household with his mother working as a custodian at Disney while his grandmother was a custodian at his elementary school for three decades. No one in his family earned over $40,000. “You can only imagine I’m 18 years old. I don’t have a family that has taught me financial literacy. I don’t know anything about it. So all of this is just trying to figure...

NASA Still Plans To Land The First Woman And First Person Of Color On The Moon But Has Removed Links To DEI Program From Its Website

NASA, an independent agency of the U.S. government, will no longer be upholding DEI efforts. In a press release, NASA shared its plans to comply with executive order “Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions,” which President Donald Trump issued when he was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2025. The order revoked Executive Order 13985 of January 20, 2021 (Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government). It also revoked Executive Order 14091 of February 16, 2023, which further advanced those initiatives, according to the White House. He’s like that big brother that I’ve been through a lot with. What better guy than him to ask?” In December...
