Non-fungible token (NFT) releases are on a consistent hot streak, but Lil Yachty has developed a legal feud with one in particular. On Jan. 27, the rapper filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Opulous, an artist-focused NFT platform, according to Rolling Stone. Lil Yachty claims that the company “maliciously” used his name and likeness to make a hefty profit.
Amazon has launched a new app that radio fans will be able to use to their advantage. Amp, reportedly the company’s Clubhouse competitor, is an app where users can create live “radio shows,” according to TechCrunch. The platform allows for both current and aspiring DJs to grow in their craft by featuring Amazon Music’s wide music selection from Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and other independent music companies that are available to be played. Amp users are also able to take live callers similar to how radio hosts do when interacting with their audience. Wing, a drone startup owned by Google’s parent company, Alphabet — has been making major moves. Last month, the company launched one of the world’s first drone delivery services in Australia. Now, it’s expanding its delivery program. Starting in June, Wing will offer drone deliveries in Helsinki, Finland . To start, Wing plans to offer the pilot program in the city’s Vuosaari district. Similar to Wing’s program in Australia, customers will be able to order food and snacks Finnish pastries and meatballs in minutes.
