There is no shortage of conversations about getting a bag and staying in it to earn more coins. But what happens when someone loses that bag? Former Brazilian soccer player Ronaldo de Assis Moreira — more commonly known as Ronaldinho — knows firsthand. Throughout his career, he played in seven soccer clubs across 15 seasons. He reportedly earned “FIFA World Player 2004, 2005 and third 2006; Best Player in the World FIFA/FIFPro 2005, 2006; America’s Best Player (El País) 2013.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (@ronaldinho) As a result of his impressive career and athletic ability, he was a well-sought-out player and earned endorsement deals. He had an endorsement deal with Coca-Cola, now a thing of the past because of the infamous sip.
Memphis is widely considered to be the birthplace of the music we love today. It’s also the hometown of George Monger, the founder and CEO of Connect Music — a Black-owned music startup launched in 2020. More specifically, the Memphis-based company is a music monetization platform that provides distribution and publishing administration services. As Black creators are disproportionately affected by the downfalls of the industry, Monger has been dedicated to proving that music is an asset class by helping the group own their music and become profitable during today’s streaming era. The founder has gone on to have over 200 label clients and developed editorial partnerships with streaming giants Pandora, Spotify, and Apple. Addiontally, Monger has also gotten Boosie Badazz on board as part-owner of Connect Music.

Although Black people continue to be one of the main drivers behind the tech industry, we aren’t receiving many of its...
