A new commercial space has been established for 14 small Black businesses in southeast Raleigh, NC. The city’s ABC11 reports the Montague Plaza has opened its doors to tenants through a $4 million project led by real estate developer James Montague in partnership with Raleigh-based software company GlobalXperts. The property is only two minutes from the project apartment where he and his family used to live.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is the first NBA player to partner with GOAT—an online sneaker marketplace—as its Brand Ambassador on and off the court. This marks the first time an athlete has signed an endorsement deal with a sneaker reselling platform. The partnership comes after the NBA’s lift on restricting shoe colors allowing players to have the creative freedom to wear the sneakers of their choice. GOAT will provide Kuzma with exclusive and highly-coveted Nike sneakers. “GOAT has inspired me to start collecting more seriously and build my style around sneakers,” said Kyle Kuzma in a news release. “People assume that, as an NBA athlete, you can get access to any kind of sneaker you want.
