A24 has released the very first trailer for The Last Black Man in San Francisco. From filmmaker Joe Talbot, the film stars newcomer Jimmie Fails and rapidly-rising star Jonathan Majors, who will topline Jordan Peele and Misha Green’s Lovecraft Country on HBO. The film is based on a short Talbot and Fails made in 2017, which is inspired based on true events in Fails’ life. He portrays a fictionalized version of himself in the film. Tichina Arnold, Danny Glover, Mike Epps, Rob Morgan, Jamal Trulove, Finn Wittrock and Thora Birch also star.
