Tierra Whack wants to normalize conversations around financial literacy. The rapper, originally known as Dizzle Dizz, has teamed up with Venmo for its financial education series, “Money Talks.” The series features a range of artists and entrepreneurs, some of whom are Whack’s peers. Blossoming from the heart of Houston, another Black-owned vodka company has hit the market. Houston Chronicle reports 10 Black entrepreneurs and peers from Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M University, The University of Texas at Austin, Wiley College, University of Houston, and Cornell University have joined forces to launch General Orders No. 3. (GO3) — named after the order which freed enslaved people on on June 19, 1865 in Galveston, Texas. The group wanted to launch a Houston-made vodka encapsulating the spirit of Texas’ heritage and culture.

According to a press release, the entertainer and businessman teamed up with tequila producer Juan Domingo Beckmann to launch a new tequila brand, Gran Coramino™. The pair merged Beckmann’s knowledge of the tequila industry with Hart’s drive to produce top-quality tequila in hopes of creating community. Now, the entrepreneurial venture, which was two years in the making, has led to a “perfectly smooth and uniquely balanced Reposado Cristalino tequila” made in the oldest distillery in Latin America.

The Harlem rapper has reportedly been named the first-ever guest artistic director of PacSun in which he will be overseeing designer collaborations, brand campaigns, in-store activations as well as supporting launches in both the Pacsun DTLA and Soho stores, a press release reports. For the next 18 months, Rocky will be responsible for driving a “new wave of premium streetwear and style” to the LA-based multi-brand retailer as part of his role. “Our community of customers is looking for something unexpected, that elevates their daily experience and lets them express their personal style. A$AP Rocky is the latest Hip Hop figure to cash in on the non-fungible token (NFT) game. This past weekend, the Harlem rapper announced the official debut of his first-ever NFT collection, which will be made available through Nifty Gateway. According to Complex, a promo video released by the AWGE Shopping Network shared that the collection will consist of “select pieces” and include a snippet of a song called “Sandman,” an unreleased track Rocky previously teased during 2021 Yams Day. Additionally, the new collection will also give fans who purchase merchandise a chance to be entered into a raffle for prizes. Each purchase is a ticket to either win one of Rocky’s vehicles from his Injured Generation Tour or a studio visit to listen to his upcoming album.
