According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a jersey worn by the former Chicago Bulls star during a 45-point game in the 1996-1997 season sold for $4.7 million at auction. Complex reports that a pair of famous Air Jordans worn by Michael Jordan himself just sold for a hefty price tag of $422,130! The shoes, which are believed to be the same pair worn by Jordan during a 1985 game against the Golden State Warriors, were sold through an auction house by the name of Lelands. These are said to be the same pair worn on Oct. 29, 1985, a significant date because it was the time that Jordan suffered a fractured bone in his left foot, leaving him out of the game for six months during his sophomore season.

Revolt TV is reporting that the rapper-mogul’s Fragment Design Air Jordan 1 release was tainted by what they’re calling “sneaker bots.” Here’s what happened: some of Scott’s most devoted fans used a bot program called Linear AIO to secure tens of thousands of raffle tickets for their chance to land the coveted sneakers. One entrant nailed more than 25,000 entries, and another landed more than 30,000 entries, thanks to the bot. But while that helped fans who had the program to secure nearly 100 pairs of sneakers at a time, it left other disappointed fans out in the cold.
