What’s meant for you surely will not pass you by.

According to Vanity Fair, Jonathan Majors almost missed out on his chance to become a Marvel star, but fate would have it otherwise.

“I hope this doesn’t bite me in the ass, but I walked out of my Marvel general [meeting],” he told the outlet.

After the waiting time for the meeting was prolonged, Majors admits that he was prepared to step away from the opportunity.

“It got long and I went, ‘I’m just going to go. It’s cool. I’ll just go.’ And I got to the door, but then they said [the casting director] Sarah Finn was going to come,” said the Marvel star.

Thankfully, Majors chose to stay or otherwise, we may have never seen him in the role of Kang the Conqueror, a villain in Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”

Fate Intervened

“We got in the room and we chatted,” Majors said of his conversation with Finn. “We were having this great conversation. I think it was three years later that we had the Kang chat. And there’s no trepidation now, especially because of who Kang is. When I said yes, we got the whole picture, and what is being laid out is cohesive.”

His Approach To Fame

As someone who has quickly taken Hollywood by storm, Majors has not allowed fame to deter him from the reason he chose to share his gift with the world in the first place.

In fact, outside of his roles, Major maintains a pretty low profile and has not succumbed to the pressures of maintaining a social media presence.

“I am a private individual,” he explained. “I just keep my head down. It’s about the work, how you do your work. I don’t bother nobody. I have no interest in the f**kery of the industry. I’m in bed by twelve o’clock.”
