Social media has given celebrities greater access to their audience and allowed them to share a closer look at their lives. Now, they’re investing more into their platforms and stepping into the digital world.

Model, actress, and activist Naomi Campbell announced a new deal with digital network Studio71 this week to help her “grow and diversify her digital content portfolio,” Variety reports.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Studio71 as I further develop projects in the media space and look forward to sharing my creative ideas with the masses in the very near future,” Campbell said in a statement reported by Variety.

Studio71’s current roster of digital creators includes stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Lilly Singh, and others.

Campbell now joins this team of creators in addition to being represented by Steven Grossman and Alex Kovacs from Untitled Entertainment and Light Switch Digital, with Portal A and Westbrook Inc. as her content production partners, Variety states.

“Naomi is doing something really special that she’s not done before. She understands the importance of content and has assumed a responsibility to connect with her audience in a meaningful and authentic way, like only she can,” said SVP and co-head of talent at Studio71, Joseph Marchese, in a statement.

According to Variety, her partnership with Studio71 includes curating and amplifying her content via ad sales, channel optimization, and brand partnerships across multiple platforms including YouTube — where she has over 440,000 subscribers — and Facebook — where she has over 1.9 million followers.

Most recently, she launched a series on her YouTube channel called “No Filter With Naomi” where she talks to an array of her industry friends about various topics centered in the fashion industry.

Some of her special guests so far have included Diddy, Rev. Al Sharpton, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss, Opal Tometi — co-founder of Black Lives Matter — and many others.

Her future digital content plans are expected to expand across her other social channels in the near future.
